Current Status: Undescribed species and registered cultivar name 'Esqueleto'.
Former Misidentification: It was widely misidentified and traded in the horticulture industry as Monstera epipremnoides. However, true M. epipremnoides is a distinct, separate Costa Rican mountain species with different leaf morphology.
